Limburg Monastery Pig
Our butchers have lovingly prepared our ready-made pulled pork from the Limburg monastery pig. This breed has its origins in the Limburg Lilbosch Abbey, where they were lovingly cared for by monks. And Livar pigs are still raised under strict supervision and we are constantly working to make the farms even more animal-friendly.
Taste as a reward for good care, that really applies. Livar pork is in a class of its own. It is laced with fat, the flavor carrier of meat.
The pulled pork is already cooked and shredded, so it’s ready to eat and just needs to be reheated. It’s best enjoyed when warmed in the oven or on the BBQ!
Preheat the oven or BBQ to 150°C. Remove the pulled pork from the vacuum bag and place it in an oven-safe dish on the BBQ or in the oven. After about 30 minutes, you’ll have incredibly delicious pulled pork ready to serve!
