Meat with Honest Origin

In our stores in Wanneperveen and Meppel, we have been selling honest meat from local farmers for 30 years. 'Taste the origin' is the credo of our butcher shop & fresh meat store Lantinga, and that's not for nothing. An authentic meat flavor comes from animals that have had a good life and not from mass industry. We find that logical, but unfortunately, it's not the case. However, we believe that animal welfare is going to play a bigger role. Thank goodness! Grandpa Lantinga predicted that well 30 years ago. 

In early 2019, however, we with The Butchery decided to start selling the most exclusive breeds online and to look even more closely at animal welfare. The best of the best, indeed. With breeds such as LIVAR, Mangalitza, Rubia Gallega, Simmentaler Fleckfieh, USA Black Angus, Aberdeen Angus Uruguay, Australian Wagyu, Label Rouge Chicken, and of course, kept Drents Weiderund, we provide an absolute Animal Welfare Guarantee.  Flavor as a reward for good care!
