What is a black-legged chicken?

Black-legged chicken is also called poulet noir and the name of course speaks for itself. This chicken not only has black feathers, but also jet black legs. The black-legged chicken is given more space and free range and the diet is completely vegetable and consists of 75% grains. This results in firm but juicy, and above all, tasty meat. Poulet Noir is truly top quality free-range chicken and has therefore been awarded the superior Label Rouge (3* Better Life from the Animal Protection Society). The chickens live at least 100 days and are therefore larger with more meat on the carcass.

Label Rouge chickens receive a sophisticated feeding program and strict controls ensure that a superior end product is guaranteed.
